Outside Description

The lawned garden is attractive and has a good sized stone flagged patio area furnished with a table, chairs and parasol in summer. The garden is south facing and although bordered with mature trees, providing privacy, still manages to be filled with sunlight. The veranda, leading from the dining room, provides a lovely space for sitting out on balmy summer evenings.

Downstairs Description

Large and comfortable living room with wood-burning stove. An initial supply of logs is provided all year round – additional supplies can be purchased locally. Dining table for 4 (this in addition to a large dining room seating 6). Large flat screen digital TV with DVD player. Mp3/iPod player. Free Wi-Fi broadband internet access throughout the cottage.

Well equipped, bright and airy kitchen with glazed door to the patio area and garden.

The main entrance to the cottage is via a pretty porch which opens into the dining room.

The dining table is large and comfortably seats 6. In the warmer months, the French windows can be fully opened, providing a wonderful open space, blurring the boundary between the garden and dining area.

A very useful and spacious room easily accessible directly from a secondary doorway situated at the front of the cottage, and then leading through to the lounge.

First Floor Description

Master Bedroom A serene and spacious room, with a luxury king size bed (5ft wide), top quality bed linen and towels, large wardrobe and chest.

Family Bathroom Bright and spacious ‘house bathroom’ with a deep plunge bath,.

Other Notes

Tapestry Cottage has full central heating and is very well insulated, warm and cosy. The log-burning stove is provided for ambiance rather than being the main source of heating in the cottage. An initial basket of logs is provided all year round.
