Downstairs Description
Well equipped open-plan kitchen/dining/ living room: on looking to their right across the hallway, guests are struck by the impressive painting over the huge stone fireplace (this sets the 'Raj' tone) set under a timbered vaulted ceiling.There’s also a useful ground floor WC.
Bedroom 1 can be set up as twin or superking) and has a spacious marble-lined wet room making it suitable for wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility.
A bonus is the sunny south-facing panelled ‘sun room’ within the pretty, private and secure walled garden – here you can escape for a little ‘me’ time or let the children run riot with games and dressing up box.
First Floor Description
A circular oak staircase leads to a landing with two bedrooms off; Bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a double bed and a bathroom fitted with a double-ended bath and drench shower over.
Dogs Welcome: We welcome well-behaved (that is, quiet, obedient & house-trained!) dogs who bring their own dog blankets.
Child Friendly: They will love the freedom of the environment and the quirky elements. The summer houses which come with the Upper Barn & Granary also provide great ‘play’ spaces.
Tots Travel Bag: We can provide (advance request appreciated):- plastic plates, bowls & beakers, toddler bibs, steriliser, plug-in baby monitor, baby bath, bathtime toys, non-slip bath mat, night light, nappy bin, potty, trainer seat and changing mat.
