Outside Description

At the front of the cottage is an enclosed lawned garden with a paved patio area with easy access from the French windows of the dining room and furnished with a large picnic table. The views from the garden are far reaching and particularly beautiful. At the rear is a small graveled garden with log store and a bike shed overlooking a central lawned area, bordered by neighbouring cottages.

Downstairs Description

A gated entrance leads into a private, gravelled driveway large enough for 3 cars. A lawned garden with paved patio area is to the front of the cottage, with a gravelled garden to the rear.

The entrance hallway leads to a ground floor bedroom, ground floor shower room/WC and a large open plan kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen is particularly attractive, with quality country-style units, granite work surfaces, slate floor with underfloor heating, central island and a range cooker.

Utility/Boot Room Leading from the kitchen is a useful utility room, with a washer/dryer .

Bedroom 1 – Ground Floor Twin/Double Bedroom with En-Suite Shower Room The spacious ground floor bedroom overlooks a pretty courtyard garden and is particularly versatile, as it offers the choice of two 3ft wide single beds.

The en-suite shower room is a good size and has a large double-sized walk in shower enclosure.

First Floor Description

The lounge is particularly attractive, spanning the whole depth of the cottage with windows to the front and rear. The exposed beams are a reminder of its original role as a barn, and the central sandstone inglenook fireplace, with cosy wood-burning stove.

Bedroom 2 –A beautifully decorated and furnished room with twin 3ft-wide beds convertible to a luxury 6ft-wide super-king-size bed upon request.

Bedroom 3 – Single An equally attractive and very comfortable bedroom. 3ft wide single bed.

A very spacious bathroom with a large bath, thermostatic shower over.

Child Friendly: One baby welcome. Wooden cot, highchair and stair gate available upon request.
