Outside Description

Directly outside is a table and some chairs for you to enjoy alfresco dining should you choose to. The gardens are shared with another self-catering cottage (The Pippins) and the main house which the owners run as a Bed & Breakfast, however there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the stunning scenery.

Downstairs Description

The Bramleys is a completely self-contained single-storey cottage which is attached to the owners house at one end. The cottage is comprised of a light and airy living-dining room, two spacious bedrooms, both of which can be made up as double (super-king size) or twin beds, a fitted kitchen, and a bathroom which has a bath and separate shower. The Bramleys does not have any steps from the car park to the property and is completely level access throughout.

The Bramleys kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and electric oven with hob. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.

A television (with free-sat), DVD player and CD player is provided in the living room and wireless broadband is available throughout the property.

  • Tropiquaria Zoo: Tropiquaria Animal & Adventure Park, a great day out for adults and children of all ages. Hold a snake or creepie-crawly in the Tropical Hall, visit the amazing puppet show and the aquarium. Outside play for hours on the full-size pirate ships or in the Indoor Play Castle. Visit website
  • Dunster Castle: An ancient castle and comfortable country home with dramatic vistas and subtropical gardens.Dramatically sited on a wooded hill, a castle has existed here since at least Norman times, with an impressive medieval gatehouse and ruined tower giving a reminder of its turbulent history.   • West Somerset Railway: It is Britain’s longest “Heritage” Railway running from Bishops Lydeard to the coast at Minehead. There are nine restored stations en route serving a variety of destinations. The railway runs special themed trains throughout the year and large-scale events. Visit website
