Outside Description

Directly outside the cottage is a private lawned garden with outside furniture and a barbecue. This area is for guests' sole use but is not enclosed. In addition, guests are also welcome to explore the farm’s 35 acres. The Victorian Wing is attached at one end to the main farmhouse where the owners live, the drive is shared but the cottage has its own parking area and is private. There is another holiday cottage on the farm, The Piggery (sleeps up to 6 guests), which is approx 50 metres away and has its own separate access and outside area.

Downstairs Description

A few steps lead up to a half-landing where you will find the entrance into the bespoke kitchen-breakfast room, with views of the orchard from the old pine table. On the opposite side of the hall is the bathroom, which comprises a power shower over the bath, toilet and hand basin. Both kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating, and the kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave in addition to the ceramic hob and fan assisted oven.

First Floor Description

Stairs lead up to the first floor where the bedrooms are; two cosy, comfortable bedrooms with lovely views across the paddocks to the hills beyond. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has a super-king bed that can be made up as twin beds on request. Please make this request at the time of booking.

Bring Your Horse: Just across the garden is stabling for up to 4 horses, should you wish to bring your horse on holiday with you. Horses are charged at £20 per horse per night to include use of stable, turn out, straw bedding and hay.
