Outside Description

The cottage is approached by its own private drive and has ample, safe parking.

Outside, the cottage has a large, private decked area and small orchard. Facing west, the deck looks out over the farm to the hills beyond and is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine on a summer’s evening. A garden table and chairs and parasol are provided along with two recliners for those sunny days. A Weber barbeque and supply of charcoal are also available for use.

Downstairs Description

The holiday cottage benefits from a large open plan sitting/dining room with glazed French doors opening onto a generously sized private decked area with fantastic uninterrupted views over farmland.

The sitting room has been furnished with contemporary stylish furniture, oak flooring and has a flat screen HD television, DVD player, Sony HiFi (with iPod dock) and a wide selection of books and DVDs for your enjoyment if you simply want to sit and relax. The kitchen also includes a wine fridge, stocked with a selection of wine for your convenience. Simply settle up at the end of your stay for anything you have selected.

First Floor Description

The bedroom upstairs is luxurious yet maintains the character of the original barn with oak floors, calm décor and delightful rural views through the shuttered window. A wall mounted flat screen TV, iPod dock and soft bedside lighting finish the room.

The fully tiled bathroom is a particular luxury feature of the cottage enjoying a large walk in shower/wet room with underfloor heating. Large luxury towels are provided along with a range of quality toiletries.
