Directly outside is a private garden (not enclosed) with seating for you to enjoy the magnificent scenery.
Downstairs Description
Downstairs there is a large kitchen/dining room with adjoining utility room plus a conservatory to admire the garden from. The large sitting room has a wood-burner for topping up the heat on those cooler evenings. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and shower.
First Floor Description
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a balcony to make the most of the fabulous sea views towards Hurlstone Point. The second bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room. There is a second upstairs bathroom next to the master bedroom. The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in total (sorry, no children under 11 years of age).
Tourist Attractions:
- Tropiquaria Zoo: Tropiquaria Animal & Adventure Park, a great day out for adults and children of all ages. Hold a snake or creepie-crawly in the Tropical Hall, visit the amazing puppet show and the aquarium. Outside play for hours on the full-size pirate ships or in the Indoor Play Castle. Visit website
- Dunster Castle: An ancient castle and comfortable country home with dramatic vistas and subtropical gardens.Dramatically sited on a wooded hill, a castle has existed here since at least Norman times, with an impressive medieval gatehouse and ruined tower giving a reminder of its turbulent history. - West Somerset Railway: It is Britain’s longest “Heritage” Railway running from Bishops Lydeard to the coast at Minehead. There are nine restored stations en route serving a variety of destinations. The railway runs special themed trains throughout the year and large-scale events. Visit website
