Outside Description

The cottage is separated from the beach only by a green and a small gravelled access road. It has uninterrupted views of Scotland across the Solway Firth, and wonderful sun-sets. A small, walled, decked patio has outdoor furniture and a BBQ, along with a log store. The England Coastal Path goes right past the property.

Downstairs Description

A large conservatory spans the front of the property, with comfortable seating and a small dining table. There is a lounge/diner with a log-burning stove and a further dining table. The kitchen is well-equipped with every appliance you will need. There is a downstairs WC and back porch/boot room. We provide enough fuel for three evening fires. Additional fuel is available for a small charge.

First Floor Description

Two double bedrooms (one can be a twin) and a single room with space for a travel cot. The bathroom has a large bath and separate shower cubicle, loo and wash hand basin

Windows Views Description

The upper front windows give views across the green, dunes and beach to the Solway Firth and Scotland beyond. The conservatory looks out on the green and dunes.

Other Notes

The property has stairs so is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Allonby is on a regular bus route between Silloth and Maryport but a car would be a distinct benefit to guests. The cottage is mid-terrace, with similar, attractive properties on either side. Parking is free on the public car park just in front and to one side of the cottage. We have free, unlimited wifi.
