Outside Description
All guests have access to two acres of gardens including a lily pond, lawn with picnic tables, giant BBQ and games room with table tennis, small pool table and table football. In the summer we set up croquet on the lawn and football goals in the field. There is car free access across our fields to the bridleways and footpaths of Exmoor National Park.
Downstairs Description
Lounge: Furnished with a three-seater sofa, a two-seater sofa, a rustic pine dining table with 4 chairs (more can be provided if you have guests), and a stone fireplace with an electric effect log fire. Entertainment is catered for with a 32″ TV with Freeview and a DVD player. Dual radiators ensure warmth. Kitchen: Equipped with pine cabinets and dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, and electric stove. Cleaning essentials are provided.
First Floor Description
Double bedroom and a twin bedroom off the landing. Beds are made up with fresh cotton linen.. The landing and bathroom in addition to the bedrooms, are heated with radiators. The bathroom has a bath, overhead shower.

- Tropiquaria Zoo: Tropiquaria Animal & Adventure Park, a great day out for adults and children of all ages. Hold a snake or creepie-crawly in the Tropical Hall, visit the amazing puppet show and the aquarium. Outside play for hours on the full-size pirate ships or in the Indoor Play Castle. Visit website
- Dunster Castle: An ancient castle and comfortable country home with dramatic vistas and subtropical gardens.Dramatically sited on a wooded hill, a castle has existed here since at least Norman times, with an impressive medieval gatehouse and ruined tower giving a reminder of its turbulent history. - West Somerset Railway: It is Britain’s longest “Heritage” Railway running from Bishops Lydeard to the coast at Minehead. There are nine restored stations en route serving a variety of destinations. The railway runs special themed trains throughout the year and large-scale events. Visit website
