Outside Description

Luccombe Cottage has a gravelled patio area directly beside the cottage which is enclosed and has a picnic bench. Please note that access to the adjoining cottage is through this courtyard.

The Manor House (where the owners live) was the original Rectory for the 14th century village church next door, there is even a private entrance to the church yard from the gardens. The gardens also include a stunning selection of magnificent trees, including some of England's oldest and largest trees - it's a horticulturist's dream!

Downstairs Description

The front door opens into the modern, well-equipped kitchen. The spacious sitting room with dining table also has a door out to the patio area.

First Floor Description

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with king-size bed and one double. The bathroom is also upstairs and comprises a bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin.

Other Notes

Please note, the water supply comes from a local natural spring. At the present time there is no washing machine in the cottage, but there are facilities in the owners house (next door) that you are welcome to use on request. Horner Cottage (next door, sleeps 2) is accessed by passing through Luccombe Cottage's outside area, but the two areas are divided by a fence and are both enclosed.
