Downstairs Description

Open Plan Lounge and Dining Area The entrance hall leads to a spacious and cosy lounge with a wood-burning stove in an original sandstone inglenook fireplace. There’s a dining area with a beautiful oak suite that seats up to 4 people and the lounge has lovely river views

The kitchen has all of the usual appliances you would expect, such as a fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, Large fridge freezer, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster.

First Floor Description

Bedroom This bright and spacious room has beautiful river views, a king size (5′) bed with luxury pocket-sprung mattress and luxury bed linen, flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD and original inglenook stone fireplace, now with an electric wood-burning effect stove (not needed as a source of heat as the cottage is fully centrally heated). Cot available upon request. Hairdryer.

There is a large bathroom with a lovely river and countryside view, bath with power shower over, basin and WC. Luxury bathrobes are available for your complimentary use, upon request. T

Other Notes

No outside space, but there is a pretty bench seat on the river bank overlooking the Coquet river, where guests often sit with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

Please note that we offer the use of luxury bathrobes on a complimentary basis at Lane End Cottage but you need to request them, they will not be provided unless requested. There is no charge. Please indicate if you require them in the space provided on our online booking form or contact us direct
