Outside Description

The entrance to Hare Cottage front door is through a pretty courtyard with a table and chairs seating up to 4.

There is 1 private parking space in front of the patio area at the cottage, and an additional space next to the utility space. Both are less than 50 yards from the front door.

Downstairs Description

The main entrance to the cottage is to the rear of Hare Cottage and opens directly into the kitchen/dining room.

Entry to the cottage is directly into the kitchen area. The kitchen is comprehensively fitted with a Rangemaster electric range cooker, integrated fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. The dining area is furnished with a lovely solid oak refectory table and pew style forms, perfectly in-keeping with the ‘country cottage’ decor and style. There is very useful utility room in a separate building directly opposite the cottage, housing a washing machine and tumble dryer, and the cottage has electric central heating with radiators throughout.

With a lovely outlook onto the front garden and beautiful open countryside towards the distant coastline, this cosy yet spacious lounge has a fabulous wood burning stove in an inglenook fireplace.

First Floor Description

A door leads from the lounge to the staircase leading to the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Master Bedroom A cosy bedroom with a double-size bed (4ft 6″ wide). A characterful window with shuttered windows overlooks the beautiful countryside with the sea and Coquet Island in the distance.

Another cosy bedroom with a bunk beds (3ft wide single size beds) for children aged 12 and under.

A bedroom suitable for an adult or child, with a single bed (3ft wide),

Bathroom, with a large walk in rainfall shower with a separate shower attachment.

Wi-Fi is provided however it cannot be guaranteed as it is provided by a third party, so it may go down at times or the speed not be as fast as you may be used to at home, which is outside of the cottage owner’s control. If Wi-Fi is essential for you we recommend you bring your own mobile router
