Outside Description

There is a small courtyard/patio area directly behind the cottage, with table and chairs - the perfect spot for a morning coffee.

Opposite the cottage (across the small road) steps lead down to a private garden area beside the river, take a book and enjoy listening to the river running by! Please note, the steps down to the riverside garden are steep and due to the location, children must be supervised. The speed/flow of the river can vary considerably depending on the time of year and recent rainfall.

Downstairs Description

Some stone steps lead up from the road to the front door. On the ground floor a pretty cottage dining room with wood-burner stove, large round table and chairs to seat 6. The lounge also has a wood-burner stove, plus TV, books and games, and provides access to the conservatory - a lovely space to sit during the day. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and electric range cooker including grill, two ovens and 6 hobs. The large utility room to the rear has the fridge/freezer, washing machine, sink and downstairs toilet. The sliding glass doors from the conservatory lead onto the patio at the back of the property, which is private and secluded.

First Floor Description

Upstairs there are three bedrooms; the double room at the front of the property, a spacious twin room, the third bed room at the back has good quality wooden bunk beds (3ft).

Also upstairs is the modern bathroom with spa bath, shower over and toilet, plus the shower room which has a shower unit, toilet and basin.

There is allocated parking for two cars in the spaces opposite the cottage (across the lane).
