Outside Description

Geary Shiel has a good sized garden which is mainly lawn and completely fenced for privacy. There is a patio are with garden furniture and barbeque.

Downstairs Description

Geary Shiel has all accommodation on the ground floor. Living room with large open fireplace, antique pine table and chairs, easy chairs and an LCD TV and DVD.

Kitchenette in solid pine to one end of the living room accommodates electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washer/drier.

Shower room downstairs with toilet and wash hand basin.

Bedroom has “zip and link” beds, which can provide twin or king-size double beds, and ample wardrobe and drawer storage for four people.

Double bed settee, good quality and large, in the main living room providing sleeping for two people, with pine blanket box next to it containing the bedding.

Windows Views Description

From Geary Shiel's windows there are fantastic views of the River Tweed and the abundant wildlife all around. We have Oyster Catchers, Herons, Sand Martins, the occasional Osprey as it forays from further up the Tweed, and myriad other bird life along with badgers, otters, deer. The views towards Berwick are particularly stunning, and there are occasionally oarsmen at work from Berwick Rowing Club

There is a drive in gated car park for this cottage, which can accommodate two cars.
