Outside Description

French windows lead directly from the kitchen to a large sunny and private patio, with luxury patio furniture. An interesting feature of the patio is a natural well (safely secured from curious little ones with an iron grate!). A pretty, enclosed garden with a summerhouse and BBQ leads from the furnished patio. The summerhouse has chairs and a variety of indoor and outdoor toys, making it an ideal playhouse for children.

Downstairs Description

The front entrance opens onto the original stone flagged hallway running the full depth of the house and leading to a rear door onto the patio garden

The drawing room is very spacious, with a wood burning stove in an inglenook fireplace surrounded by luxuriously comfy sofas.

The ‘reading’ area with leather armchairs overlooks the beautiful river view and has a large variety of books for all ages and tastes.

Leading from the lounge is a spacious and attractive dining room with a beautiful, solid oak dining table comfortably seating 6.

Just off the dining room is the kitchen, with solid oak units, granite worktops, a stainless steel range oven with 2 ovens, large ceramic hob and built in appliances.

A washing machine and separate tumble dryer are housed in a useful large stone store room adjacent to the kitchen,

First Floor Description

Master Bedroom A spacious room with a luxury king size (5′ wide) bed. Door leading to an en suite luxury bathroom. Flat screen TV (not shown in image below).

Bedroom 2 This gorgeous bedroom has French country-style furniture, including a super-king size (6′ wide) bed and it also has a pretty en suite washroom/WC.

Bedroom 3 Opulently furnished in French country-style with fabulous lighting, this bedroom features full-size twin beds (3′ wide) which upon request can be converted to a super-king size bed (6′ wide)

Other Notes

A basket of logs will be provided for the wood burning stove only for holidays taken between October and April. Further supplies can be ordered and paid for in advance or purchased locally.

Dogs Welcome: Two well-behaved dogs welcome for a small charge of £20 each per holiday. Dog sitting service available.
Child Friendly: One baby welcome. Travel cot, highchair and stair gate available upon request. Cot linen available upon request.
