Outside Description

Enclosed by a dry-stone wall off the hill farm's meandering drive, Cockshutt Cottage has rolling fields behind and breathtaking views below. Catch the morning sun in the kitchen garden or relax under the prolific cherry tree in the south-facing garden as the evening sun sets in the Golden Valley.

Downstairs Description

Flagstone floors and an open fire await as you enter Cockshutt Cottage. The cosy kitchen-living area has a farmhouse table, marble worktops, a fully-equipped kitchen and comfy sofas around the fire, with windows and views on all sides. Beyond is a master bedroom with lots of light and a second bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom is also on the ground floor.

Windows Views Description

The cottage looks out on Westley Farm's 70 acres of ancient woodland and grazing pasture. From your cottage you will see orchards below, the valley stretching into the distance, sheep and cattle, deer, birds of prey and the occasional badger.

Other Notes

Westley Farm is a hill farm on the edge of the Cotswolds. There are steps and uneven surfaces inside the property. Please contact us if you think this might present you with difficulties.

Dogs Welcome: Pets are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog per stay.
Child Friendly: Suitable for children of all ages.
Group Getaways: More cottages on the farm, Jackdaw, which sleeps 4, and Hornstone, which sleeps 8.
Farm Experience: Cattle and sheep will be grazing in the fields and in the autumn you will find us busy harvesting in the orchard.
Eco Escape: Westley Farm has long valued its natural environment and the farm is managed sensitively to encourage wildlife habitats. You may see wild orchids, rare butterflies, perhaps even dormice! We use environmentally friendly cleaning products .
Organic Options: We will provide you with a pint of organic milk from a local farm on arrival. All our cleaning products are eco-friendly.
