Outside Description

To the rear of the house, leading from the kitchen, there is a courtyard with a table and chairs for 6 and a pretty lawned garden. It’s fully enclosed and has access via a garden gate from a rear lane, which is useful when returning from the beach with a dog.

Downstairs Description

The front door opens into a spacious hall with a staircase leading to the first floor, a door to the lounge and a corridor leading to the rear garden and patio area.

Open Plan Lounge Spacious cottage lounge with original inglenook fireplace housing a wood-burning stove. This is a very comfortable room with a large flat screen TV with Sky digital Freeview channels and DVD player. Free wi-fi is available throughout the cottage and there is a hi-fi with docking station for iPods and iPhone 4’s.

The Kitchen leads from the lounge, down one step, and is very spacious and bright, overlooking the patio and beautiful garden beyond. With all the appliances you would expect in a luxury holiday cottage, including electric oven, gas hob, large American fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

A glazed door leads directly to the patio and beautifully landscaped garden beyond.

First Floor Description

Luxurious velvet king size bed (5 ft wide) with top quality Egyptian cotton bed linen. Large window overlooking the village street. Hairdryer and towels provided. En-suite shower room with wash hand basin and WC.

The single bedroom has a full size (3ft wide) single bed.

The family bathroom, whilst still incorporating the original cast iron bath, has been refitted to a luxury standard and has a WC, wash hand basin and bath with power shower over.

Other Notes

Parking is available on the roadside opposite the cottage, although as it is a public highway parking cannot be guaranteed. There is more parking within around 50-100 yds of the cottage (no parking charges).
