Outside Description

The gardens to the front of the property are shared between Barn Cottage, the main house, and another holiday cottage, Orchard Cottage. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens as much as they would like to, however please note that it is not enclosed. There are fabulous views of the surrounding countryside from the garden and there are several beautiful benches to relax on and enjoy the scenery.

The allocated parking area for Barn Cottage is situated approx 50 metres from the property, however you are welcome to pull up outside the front door to unload and load the car whenever necessary.

Downstairs Description

A short set of steps lead up to the entrance of the cottage and into the kitchen. A couple more steps lead into the the living room with dining table, which features beautiful South aspect views across the gardens and the wonderful countryside beyond.

First Floor Description

The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in three bedrooms; one double, and two single bedrooms. The family bathroom is comprised of bath, toilet and hand basin.

Other Notes

A former threshing is now used an indoor badminton court next door. Attached to that Barn is the main house, and there is another holiday property to the East which sleeps up to 5 guests. The Badminton Court and the gardens are shared with the other cottage. Oil fired central heating is fitted throughout. Heating and electricity costs are not included in the price of your accommodation. The owners will take metre readings at the beginning and end of your stay, and ask you to settle up with them prior to your departure.

Dogs Welcome: Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2). A supplementary fee of £10 per dog will be added to your invoice. Dogs are welcome but please do not allow them on the furniture or leave them alone in the property at any time.
