Outside Description

The gardens at Ball Cottage are a delight. At the back, there are two ways down to a level, grassy area beside the river, one of them steps. The cottage has a picnic table, chairs, and a barbecue if you want to cook out. There is also a large garden at the front of the property. Please note that young children need supervision on the steps and by the river.

An off-road parking space is available on the opposite side of the road and the barn can be used as a garage (also opposite).

Downstairs Description

The cottage sleeps up to 5 guests (with a maximum of 4 adults) so there is flexibility for your sleeping arrangements. There is one double bedroom downstairs. The kitchen/dining room has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee-maker and plug-in radio. The freezer and microwave are in the utility room. There is a full set of saucepans, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses; and cutlery, cups and plates for children. In the sitting room, there is a flat screen television and DVD player. Wireless broadband is available throughout the cottage. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer are also provided in the cottage..

First Floor Description

There is is one double bedroom and also a twin room on the first floor. The bathroom upstairs has recently been redesigned; it has a bath, powerful shower, large heated towel rail and a shaver point. A cot and high chair are available; please request these items when booking so we can make sure they are there when you arrive

Other Notes

This property sleeps up to of 5 guests in total, with a maximum of 4 adults. Winsford has no mobile signal, but there is a pay phone in the utility room at Ball Cottage, it does not take operator calls but you can dial 999 from there. There is a public phone 200 metres from the cottage and the cottage has wifi provided at no extra charge. Young children will need supervision on the steps in the garden and by the river. The off-road parking space is on the opposite side of the road.
